Sunny winter mornings and special winter evenings are all things love. This is also the season for merriment, catching up with loved ones (virtually or in person), having hot chocolate and sending each other gifts of love! As we get set to embrace the chilly days, here are some reasons and fun ideas to dress up and spread positivity all around this winter season. Our designers have also shared specific ethnic wear recommendations for each of these occasions to help you look the best. Read on!

Idea #1: A fun bonfire with loved ones at home is a great way to welcome the winter season. Get your DIY decorations out and spend the day cooking at home for a truly relaxed evening around the bonfire.

Designer’s Reco: Pick this elegant and stylish dark blue Pashmina suit set with jacquard weaving work all over for this evening. Get it stitched with palazzos or pants and add colour to the evening as you don its Pashmina multi-coloured dupatta with digital print and jacquard weaving work.

Idea #2: Winter brunches are what we wait for all through the year. Check out the weather report and plan it for a beautiful sunny day. Don’t forget to wear your mask and maintain social distancing whether you do it at a loved one’s place or at a café.

Designer’s Reco: We’d recommend a unique lime green coloured outfit for a winter brunch. While the lime green Spun kurta has digital print motifs all over, the grey dupatta with lime green polka dots comes like a breath of fresh air.

Idea #3: Get set for a movie marathon at home or enjoy an evening of simultaneous viewing with friends and family. The Crown, Aashram, Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story, Special OPS, The Big Bang Theory or the good old sitcom Friends are some of our favourites. Cappuccino, popcorn and blankets are mandatory!

Designer’s Reco: Get into your most comfortable clothes for this fun evening as you’re going to be glued to the television till the wee hours. Pair your outfit with the cosy and soft grey polka dot woollen shawl from our Winter Wardrobe collection.

Idea #4: Organize a Secret Santa party with your best friends or cousins and have a potluck this time. Spend the countdown up to the party getting your house Christmas ready, set up the Christmas tree and sprinkle paper snowflakes and lights around the around.

Designer’s Reco: Red is the sure shot choice for this afternoon celebrating the happiest festival of the year. Spread Christmas cheer as you wear a pure Pashmina red suit set with striped zari weaving and jacquard work all over. It is paired with a pure Pashmina dupatta that can double up as a shawl flaunting jacquard weaving work.

Idea #5: Working from home may be boring at times, but it still is a reason to dress up, don’t you think? Brighten up your mood on all those dull days with long hours of virtual meetings with a vibrant coloured outfit ideal for the winter season.

Designer’s Reco: We vote for this Spun wine coloured suit set with multi-coloured digital floral print all over. It is paired with a Chiffon dupatta with matching digital print that you can take around as a stole or as a traditional chunni on one side. This outfit is sure to keep you comfortable and warm on a long work day.
