Each day at Tacfab is about celebrating the woman of today, and we try to do the same every moment, in some way or the other. On Women’s Day, we’d like to pause and look back at some of the most wonderful women achievers in India. We salute them for their determination and truly look up to them for making our country proud.

Deepa Malik: An athlete and the first Indian woman to win a medal in Paralympic Games, Deepa Malik is an inspiration for many. Her passion and her talent drove her to achieve the heights that many would think physical capabilities limit.

She started her career in sports at the age of 36 and has won 58 national & 18 international medals. We truly look up to her for making our country proud!

Harmanpreet Kaur: Harmanpreet Kaur, an all-rounder and captain of the Indian T20 Women Cricket Team, has done our country proud with her incredible achievements at such a young age. Often referred to as the girl who took women's cricket to the next level, she was awarded the prestigious Arjuna Award for Cricket in 2017.

We salute her grit, determination and fantastic attitude this Women's Day. And oh, did you know it is her birthday on 8th March too?

Jinnie Gogia Chugh: A former teacher, Jinnie Gogia Chugh went off the beaten track to start her fitness journey at the age of 37. Now an international athlete and fitness writer, she broke many barriers to become one of the few female bodybuilders in India.

Her journey is a great example for all the women out there who want to pursue their passion. This women's day, we celebrate her achievements and encourage you to #EmbraceYourDreams just like Jinnie Gogia Chugh did!

Bhumi Pednekar: Bollywood greatly influences the people of our country and it is commendable how Bhumi Pednekar chose movies that address societal issues in the most interesting way. From Toilet: Ek Prem Katha to Dum Laga Ke Haisha (where she plays the role of an overweight woman breaking barriers), she performed gracefully in all her movies while sending across the right message to the society.

We loved how she did that with the help of the movies and encourage everyone to break barriers in the same way.

Pooja Dhingra: An Indian pastry chef, Pooja Dhingra opened India's first macaron store and owns the bakery chain Le15 Patisserie. From publishing The Big Book of Treats to becoming one of the most prominent women entrepreneurs in the country, she sets new standards for every woman out there who wants to pursue her dreams and start her own business.

As we speak about India's top women achievers, our list is incomplete without mentioning Pooja Dhingra as she makes her mark in the world and is now known and spoken about in almost every household.

Falguni Nayar: We admire stories of people quitting their jobs and doing something different. Falguni Nayar turned that dream into reality when she left her job as the managing Director Of Kotak Mahindra Capital Company and founded Nykaa.

After working for over two decades in the corporate world, she launched India's leading beauty retailer Nykaa, which now has an extensive online and offline presence. She has also been recognized as The Most Powerful Women in Business 2017 by Business Today.

She sets an example of how age cannot stop you from taking new initiatives, how it is never too late to try out new things and to do your best to achieve what you want for yourself.

We believe the women of today have got everything to take the world in their stride and here we are, supporting each and every woman out there who wants to achieve her dreams, no matter what they are. At Tacfab, we support all the women out there, their thoughts, dreams, aspirations. So go ahead, #EmbraceYourDreams and do what it takes to achieve them!
